"Landscaping" the balcony

Since we live in an apartment, we don't have a yard or anything to landscape. So, I have taken it upon myself to 'landscape' our balcony.

We currently have a hanging flower basket, and are growing some herbs, but I thought it could use some more work.

So I decided to spruce up our patio a little bit more and add some privacy at the same time.

I scored some lattice at Lowe's for 50% off and bought a Clematis vine to climb all over the lattice (I hope)!

We'll see what happens in the next couple weeks, but hopefully we will be on our way to more color and more privacy on our balcony!
